ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting’s EduTours give attendees a chance to see psychiatry in a different light. This year, witness cognitive vitality as 98-year-old Herbert Blomstedt, conductor laureate for the San Francisco Symphony, conducts Gustav Mahler’s epic Ninth Symphony. Or follow in Alfred Hitchcock’s footsteps to learn how he used San Francisco’s distinct look to create a sense of paranoia in “Vertigo.” Space is limited and extra fees apply.

Among other topics, the neurosurgeon, bestselling author, and Emmy Award–winning medical correspondent will discuss the five key pillars for brain health—and how they map directly onto evidence-based psychiatric care and prevention.

APA has developed an issue brief to inform psychiatrists and trainees about the proposed changes to federal student loans and their potential impact on medical education and the future workforce.
