Dear Members of Our APA Community:
I’m very pleased to write to you today with some exciting news: Justin Singh, M.B.A., has joined as APA’s new senior vice president of operations, finance, and transformation.
As part of a
leadership restructuring, Justin will oversee many of the daily operations of the association, establish our technology and innovation agenda, and facilitate the roll-out of our strategic plan, which the APA Board of Trustees recently approved.
Justin comes to APA with close to 20 years’ experience in business and health care innovation. Most recently, he was a senior principal at Roivant Sciences, where he developed new AI health technology products and business ventures. His extensive background in health care innovation ranges from clinical research to care delivery, large academic medical centers to independent private practices, and across therapeutic areas. In a rewarding detour earlier in his career, he helped stage the first FIFA World Cup in Africa.
(You can learn more about his background in our
press release).
One of his first tasks will be to assist in implementing our new strategic plan, Psychiatry 2030: A Vision for Our Future, which was developed with input from members, staff, and other stakeholders. We are looking forward to growing in three key areas: medical leadership, member success, and organizational strength.
I’m thrilled to have Justin aboard as we, as #OneAPA, begin our transformation into an organization that will carry psychiatry into the next five years and far beyond.
