The Judges and Psychiatrist Leadership Initiative (JPLI) is hosting a one-hour webinar on Wednesday, December 20, at 2 p.m. EST for psychiatrists to learn more about the recently completed “Supporting People With Serious Mental Illnesses and Reducing Their Risk of Contact With the Criminal Justice System: A Primer for Psychiatrists.”
Learn tips for identifying and addressing the needs of patients and incorporating interventions that address criminogenic risks and needs into treatment plans. This webinar will feature Michael Champion, M.D., forensic chief of the Adult Mental Health Division, Hawaii State Department of Health, and Fred Osher, M.D., director of health systems and services policy, Council of State Governments Justice Center.
